Ferrari Dino

Built for Enzo Ferrari’s son after passing, he named the car after Alfredo ‘Dino’ Ferrari, as he worked on its engine before it was finished.
It is a V6 mid-engine sports car that is an evolution of the Dino 206GT, with a lengthened wheelbase and larger engine with 192bhp compared to the previous 178 bhp. With torque at 166lb-ft, it surpasses the previous 138lb-ft of the 206 GT and has an acceleration of 0-50 mph in 5.5 seconds.
The 246 GT was sold between 1969 and 1974 with 2,295 being made, making it was the first automobile manufactured in high numbers by Ferrari.
The ground-breaking design and intrinsic qualities as a Berlinetta style sports coupe when driving stands out, with Ferrari formula one driver Carlos Sainz describing it as raw and being able to feel what is underneath you without all the systems.
This is not seen by only Sainz, as it is 6th on Sports Car International top sports cars of the 1970s, beating the likes of the RX-7 and Carrera RS.
It is rivalled by the Porsche 911S, by which it beats with a top speed of 235km/h, beating the Porsche by 16km/h.
